I’ve been using Suntegrity mineral sunscreens for over 7 years. Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens, and Suntegrity has always remained my top favourite sun care brand.
As most of you know, I’m a fair-skinned Canadian living in hot sunny Bali (our online shop is based out of Montreal, Canada, and I live in Bali). Sunscreen is very important to me. I need to wear sunscreen every single day, all year round, or I get burned. I also have melasma, and I have to be extra careful with the sun because the hyperpigmentation can darken easily.
With that being said, sunscreen is the most important product in my skin care routine.
I’ve been living in Bali for 10 years, and let’s just say I’ve tried A LOT of sunscreens. In all honesty, majority of sunscreen I’ve tried have been disappointing.
What I find most frustrating is even if a sunscreen is labelled SPF 30 or PA++++, some formulas protect your skin much better than others. I didn’t know this until I moved to the tropics with such strong sun. Over here you’ll know pretty quick if a sunscreen works or not. Unfortunately a lot of them are labelled as if they should work, but I get burned within an hour of application.
I’ve learned that there’s a few things you need to know when shopping for sunscreen. Not only does the sunscreen need to be labelled broad spectrum sunscreen (protecting your skin from UVA and UBA rays), and be SPF30 or higher (and/or be PA++++); but most importantly, the formula needs to be long-lasting and adhere to your skin. This is one detail I find a lot of sunscreen fall short.
I’ve used a lot of sunscreens that disappear from my skin within an hour of application. They’re thin and invisible on the skin making them look and feel great. But, they disintegrate fast. Especially on the nose and forehead that tends to be more oily. You would have to reapply these sunscreens every hour to get decent sun protection.
If you are on the beach, on a boat, gardening, exercising outdoors, or spending a lot of time in direct sunlight, you need to reapply sunscreen every 1-2 hours anyway. But if you aren’t in the sun much at all, applying sunscreen every hour isn’t practical.
The FDA and the Skin Cancer Foundation recommends 2mg/cm2 of sunscreen for the face and body, which is approximately 1 shot glass full (2 tablespoons). Out of that amount, the face alone should have 1/3 – 1/2 tsp of sunscreen (a nickel size dollop). If you actually measure everything out, it’s a lot of product. Most people don’t use anywhere near that much sunscreen because it would look hideous. Most sunscreens are designed to look good when you use a little, not a lot (which completely defeats the purpose of sunscreen).
And that’s why I love Suntegrity face sunscreens. You can, and I do use a generous coating of sunscreen every single day on my face and neck. It blends into the skin, it’s not noticeable or heavy, and it dries down and absorbs nicely. And best of all, you get reliable and lasting sun protection.
I apply it every morning at the end of my skincare routine. If I go out in the afternoon, I reapply. I apply a generous layer on my skin. I’ve been using these sunscreens for so many years because I never get red or burned. I’m almost 45 years old and up until now I haven’t had any sun spots on my face either.
In this Suntegrity Review
In this Suntegrity face sunscreen review, I will be reviewing and comparing 5 in 1 Tinted Face Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 30 and Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30.
I receive a lot of emails from customers and subscribers unsure which product to choose. These two sunscreens have a lot of similarities in performance, ingredients, weight and texture; but they’re also quite different.
In this Suntegrity face sunscreen review I will go over each product, and compare them making it easier to decide. I’ve included photos of the sunscreens and swatches of all the 5 in 1 Sunscreen shades.

Both sunscreens are suitable for all skin types. They are formulated to be moisturizing and both have a satin finish. In the review I’ve included tips and suggestions how to use the sunscreens for different skin types to make it look and feel good on your skin.

5 in 1 Tinted Face Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF30
Out of all the Suntegrity sunscreen products, the 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 30 is my favourite.
I love this sunscreen. It’s my holy grail sunscreen. I’ve been using it for over 7 years. I have yet to find a sunscreen I like better.
What I love about Suntegrity 5in1 Tinted Face Sunscreen:
- It’s a broad spectrum sunscreen, meaning it protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays.
- It has 20% non-nano zinc oxide. Non-nano zinc oxide is one of the few UV filters that protects the skin from both UVA rays (the rays that age and damage your skin) and UVB rays (the rays that burn your skin). Most sunscreen filters only protect agains UVB rays. Even titanium dioxide which is also a mineral UV filter only protects the skin from UVB rays. Zinc oxide protects against both, making it a superior UV filter.
- I personally prefer sunscreens to have at least 15% non-nano zinc oxide. I find the more zinc oxide in the product, the better the protection. Suntegrity 5in1 has 20%, which is great.
- I have sensitive skin, and this product never irritates my skin (I am prone to getting rashes and hives from sunscreens).
- I can use this sunscreen all around my eyes and eyelids without irritation. I’m prone to getting milia from skincare products and it’s never caused an issue.
- I have acne prone skin. I have never had a pimple or clogged pores from this product (or any of Suntegrity’s sunscreens). I find the zinc oxide in the product to be quite soothing, reduces redness, and can help balance oil production in acne prone skin.
- 5 in 1 Tinted Face Sunscreen is fragrance-free and essential oil-free. This is especially good if you have sensitive skin (like me!).
- This sunscreen is tinted, there is absolutely no white cast.
- It comes in 4 shades and blends into the skin beautifully. There is a shade for every skin tone from the fairest to the deepest (I’ve tested all the shades on many people and I was REALLY surprised how well each of the shades blends into the skin).
- This is not a makeup or foundation. The sunscreen is tinted, but the coverage is so light. It’s tinted so it blends into your skin. Both my father and husband use it and they like it because it’s not visible on their skin.
- The shades lean more warm. Even though I am fair and my skin tone is neutral/cool, I much prefer tinted sunscreens that leans more warm with yellow undertones. Most tinted sunscreen have neutral/cool undertones making the skin look a little grey and ashy. 5 in 1 shades warm up the skin giving a healthy glow.
- 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen is not only a sunscreen, but a BB cream, moisturizer, and primer too.
- Mineral sunscreens can be drying. This sunscreen is designed to be emollient and moisturizing to counter any potential dryness.
- It’s formulated with skin benefiting ingredients including antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, jojoba, green tea, cucumber and red algae extracts.
- Unless you have very dry skin, this can be used in place of a moisturizer. It’s also a nice base under makeup.
- It plays well with all skincare products and makeup. I’ve never had an issue of it pilling on top of serums or skin care, or makeup balling when applied on top of it.
- I love the ease of use. If you are looking for a sunscreen you can apply and go, this is a great choice. It blends right into the skin immediately, and it’s not visible along the hairline or eyebrows.
Suntegrity 5 in 1 shades
Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen comes in 4 shades.
At first look, just 4 shades seems pretty limited. They also look quite light.
But I’ve tested the shades on an array of skin tones and was quite surprised how versatile this product is. VERY SURPRISED.
The biggest test was trying it on my husband, Gede. He’s Indonesia and has a deep skin tone. He’s also a landscaper working in the hot sun all day, every day. Most sunscreens look awful on him, and with his profession he needs good sun protection.
The deepest shade is Medium and if you look at the video and swatches you’ll see that out of the tube it doesn’t appear anywhere close to his skin tone. But once you apply it and give it 10-15 minutes to dry down and set, it blends into the skin seamlessly.
I remember the first time he tried it, he looked worried. He was afraid the shade was completely off and would make his skin look ashy. Plus he was also afraid it would be shiny and obvious on his skin. Turned out he was instantly impressed with how good it looked and felt on his skin. He’s been using it every day since.
Even though Suntegrity 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen is tinted, it’s not a makeup or foundation. It’s tinted with mineral pigments so it blends into your skin and has no white cast from the zinc oxide. One shade can be used by a variety of skin tones that are matching or in its range.
I can use both shades Fair or Light. My closest match is shade Fair, but I like using the shade Light because it warms up my skin tone. I also mix the two shades together.
How to use Suntegrity 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen
Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen is formulated to be a sunblock, moisturizer, and primer built into one.
You can use it:
- On its own after cleansing as a moisturizer and sunscreen
- On top of your skincare products, as the final step in your skin care routine to moisturize and for sun protection.
- As a base/primer under makeup
I use 3 pumps of product on my face, and another pump on my neck.
I apply it first thing in the morning as the last step of my skincare routine.
If I go out in the afternoon, I apply it again.
If I am outdoors all day, I will reapply more often (every 2-3 hours).
On average I go through 3 tubes a year.
I live overseas, so I stock up. Because I go back and forth wearing shades Fair or Light (or mix them together), I buy 2 tubes of shade Fair and 1 tube of shade Light to last me one year.
When you finish a tube, I recommend cutting it open and decanting what is left to an airtight jar/container. There is usually quite a bit of product collecting on the inner sides of the tube that can’t be dispensed by the pump once it’s close to being finished. I would say there’s at least 2 weeks worth of product left inside (yes, that much!).
Using Suntegrity 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen under makeup
I’ve tested Suntegrity 5 in 1 Sunscreen as a primer under a variety of different foundations including oil-based, silicone-based and water-based formulas.
It softens and hydrates the skin creating a smooth base. It works well under all foundation formulas, never piling or balling up. Even fussy foundations like Kosas Tinted Face Oil which is known not to work well with most sunscreens, was a perfect base.
If you prefer using a non-tinted sunscreen as your base under foundation, you can use Suntegrity Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30 (review below). I never found the pigments in the 5 in 1 interfered with the shade of foundation on top, but I know some of you prefer using non-tinted sunscreens under makeup.
Tips for different skin types
Suntegrity 5 in 1 Sunscreen is an all-in-one moisturizer, primer, and sunblock; and suitable for all types.
It’s not oily or greasy, but it is emollient and lightly occlusive.
The texture is creamy, it’s not fluid or a lotion.
Over the last 7 years that I’ve been using this product, I’ve been pregnant twice and my skin type has changed significantly. When I first started using 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen, I had very oily skin. Now, years later in my mid-40s, my skin is more dry.
As my skin has been changing over the years, I’ve never felt the need to change sunscreens. It’s always worked for me but I had to make adjustments with what other products I used with it.
Here’s some suggestions how to use Suntegrity 5in1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen for different skin types:
Normal & combination skin:
I find Suntegrity 5 in 1 Sunscreen is well suited for normal and combination skin types. It’s moisturizing, but it’s not too rich, and at the same time it’s not too light.
You can use it on its own after cleansing, or on top of serum, light moisturizer or facial oil.
Dry skin:
For dry skin, you might want to use a hydrating serum or facial oil under Suntegrity 5 in 1 to make it more nourishing (especially if you live in a dry climate).
- If your skin is dry and flakey, I recommend using a moisturizer, cream, or facial oil before applying the 5 in 1 Sunscreen.
- If your skin is dehydrated but not flakey, I recommend using a hydration serum before applying the 5 in 1 Sunscreen.
- If your skin is dull and you want a luminous, dewy finish, use the sunscreen immediately after applying your serums or moisturizer/oil.
- If you don’t want a dewy glow, allow at least 5-10 minutes for your serums or moisturizer/oil to dry down and absorb before applying the sunscreen. What you use under the sunscreen greatly affects the finish of the sunscreen and how well it dries down and absorbs.
Oily skin:
When I first started using this sunscreen, I had really oily skin. Plus I live in hot tropical climate.
At first I wasn’t sure if I even liked the sunscreen, or if it would work for my skin. It’s not oily or greasy, it’s not even that rich, but it is slightly occlusive and denser then most sunscreens.
I also didn’t want a sunscreen or product that would make my already shiny skin, shinier.
I was unsure because it was heavier than what I was used to.
But as I continued using the Suntegrity tinted spf, I started liking it more and more. After you apply it and it dries down and absorbs, you no longer feel it on your skin.
It also never gave me breakouts or aggravated pimples I would get. In fact I found it quite soothing, softening, and balancing for my oily skin.
Suntegrity 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen can appear shiny on your skin if you layer it on top of other skincare products. But for oily skin, you don’t really need to use it with other skincare products anyway. It’s hydrating and nourishing enough on its own. I recommend using it after cleansing. If you are using a treatment serum, I recommend waiting at least 5-10 minutes for the serum to completely dry down and absorb before applying the sunscreen. This way the sunscreen isn’t sitting on top of the skincare product and can dry down and absorb nicely. I find this extra step prevents excess shine or dewiness from the product.
If you can’t bear any shine what so ever and want a matte finish, or you don’t have time for your skincare product to dry down before applying sunscreen, you can always use a powder to absorb excess oils (Suntegrity just came out with a Pressed Mineral Powder Compact SPF 50 which goes really well with their sunscreens, plus it’s completely translucent and great for sunscreen re-application). You can powder your t-zone or face right after applying the sunscreen. That gets rid of excess oil and shine in seconds.
And remember – like most BB creams, it takes a good 10-15 minutes for Suntegrity 5 in 1 to completely dry down and set. So after applying, it might seem quite emollient at first, but after 10-15 minutes it does dry down and looks more skin-like.
Since doing this review, Suntegrity 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 30 has had a makeover and new white packaging. The formula and size hasn’t changed, just a new look.

Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF30
Suntegrity Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30 is a great sunscreen to use under makeup. It’s moisturizing, and makes the skin soft and supple, priming it for smooth makeup application.
But I will warn you, it does have a slight white cast. It won’t be an issue if you are using foundation or a complexion makeup on top, because the makeup will cover and hide the white cast. But if you are planning on using it on its own as a daily sunscreen without makeup, depending on you skin tone, you might want to consider using Suntegrity 5in1 Tinted Face Sunscreen instead.
I’ve done some tests and if you are fair like me, or have porcelain skin tone, the white cast won’t show. In fact it will make your skin appear brighter.
But, if your skin is darker than mine like golden, olive or a deep skin tone; the white cast will show if you aren’t wearing foundation or makeup on top of it.
So just to be clear, this is a great sunscreen for makeup wearers. It will prep and prime your skin as it protects, but on it’s own (without makeup), the white cast probably won’t be to your liking (unless you have very fair skin).
Also, there’s a little trick to this sunscreen, You need to give it a few minutes for the mineral sunscreen to absorb and set on your skin.
I’ll never forget the first time I tried it. It looked like I was applying white halloween makeup all over my face, and I was thinking this product was a terrible mistake.
Lucky I didn’t take it off immediately. I was distracted by something and when I came back to the mirror 15 minutes later, the sunscreen disappeared into my skin. The opaque whiteness of the cream was gone.
Phew!
So if you are trying this for the first time, don’t freak out.
Apply it, blend it into your skin and walk away from the mirror. Go do something for 15 minutes. Then come back.
And for best results, I strongly recommend applying it to dry skin. Not wet or damp skin. If you just washed your face or just applied moisturizer or facial oil; wait 5 minutes for the products to absorb and your skin to be completely dry before applying the sunscreen. I find the sunscreen absorbs and dries down much better on dry skin, plus the white cast fades more easily too.
In all fairness, most non-tinted zinc based sunscreen have a white cast (especially if it contains non-nano zinc oxide as the main active ingredient). True to its name, it’s meant to be used as a “sunscreen and primer.”
So beyond the white cast (that is easily disguised by foundation), what else do I like Suntegrity Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer?
What I like about Suntegrity Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer, SPF30
- It’s a broad spectrum sunscreen, meaning it protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays.
- The active ingredient is non-nano zinc oxide, which is what protects the skin from both UVA rays (the rays that age and damage your skin) and UVB rays (the rays that burn your skin). Most sunscreen filters only protect agains UVB rays. Even titanium dioxide which is also a mineral UV filter only protects the skin from UVB rays. Zinc oxide protects against both, making it a superior UV filter.
- I personally prefer sunscreens that have at least 15% zinc oxide. Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer has 20% non-nano zinc oxide which is great sun protection.
- I have sensitive skin and this product never irritates my skin (I am prone to getting rashes and hives from sunscreens).
- I’ve also never had any clogged pores or breakouts from this product. I find the zinc oxide in the product to be quite soothing, reduces redness, and can help balance oil production in acne prone skin.
- Unlike the 5 in 1 Tinted Face Sunscreen, this product is lightly scented (natural, non-synthetic fragrance). Normally I prefer unscented sunscreens, but the fragrance in the formula was non-intrusive, didn’t irritate my skin or melasma. It’s a light citrus scent.
- This formula is moisturizing and hydrating creating a nice smooth base under makeup.
- For most skin types, the Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer is nourishing enough that it can be used in place of your daytime moisturizer.
- It’s formulated with skin protecting antioxidants, and hydrating and plumping hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and red algae, jojoba, green tea and cucumber extracts.
- It plays well with all skincare products and makeup. I’ve never had an issue of it pilling on top of serums or skin care, or makeup balling when applied on top of it.
- This sunscreen does have a slight white cast and is best used as a sunscreen primer under foundation (that’s what it’s designed for). Once your foundation is applied on top, the white cast completely disappears.
- If you have fair or porcelain skin tone, you can use this sunscreen on its own, the white cast will blend into your skin and brighten your complexion.
- All other skin tones should only use this as a sunscreen primer under foundation. If you want to use a sunscreen on its own without makeup, better to go with the 5in1 Tinted Face Sunscreen which doesn’t have a white cast.
How to use Suntegrity Face Sunscreen & Primer
Suntegrity Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer is formulated to be a sunblock, moisturizer, and primer built into one.
This product is emollient and moisturizing. Compared to the Suntegrity 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen, I find it’s a touch more moisturizing. You can use serums under the sunscreen, but you might not need a moisturizer or facial oil (unless you have very dry skin, but even so, I recommend experimenting with and without a moisturizer to see if you really need one).
For best results, I recommend:
- Apply it to dry skin – after washing your face and applying skincare, I recommend waiting a few minutes for your skin to dry before applying the sunscreen. I find it absorbs and dries down better on dry skin (and the white cast fades better too).
- Be mindful not to apply too much product along the hairline and eyebrows because it can collect in the hair, and the whiteness of the product can be visible. If excess product does collect, use an eyebrow brush or damp cloth to remove any excess sunscreen along the hairline and eyebrows.
- After applying the sunscreen, give it 10-15 minutes to dry down and set. When first applying the sunscreen you’ll see the whiteness is pretty full on, but if you give it 10-15 minutes the whiteness will become more translucent and the product will absorb into the skin.
- Once the product has absorbed (10-15 after application), your skin is now primed and ready for makeup.
Using Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer under makeup
What stands out the most is how well Suntegrity Face Sunscreen & Primer moisturizes and creates a smooth soft base for makeup.
Formulated with hydrating and skin plumping ingredients like hyaluronic acid, and red algae, cucumber and green tea extracts; this sunscreen smoothes and enhances the appearance of the skin as it protects.
I’ve tested this sunscreen primer under a bunch of different types of foundations that are silicone, oil, and water based. It plays well with everything, never balling, pilling, or breaking up under makeup.
It also works well on top of all skin care products including serums, essences, moisturizers and facial oils.
The texture of this sunscreen is very creamy and emollient making it easy to apply and blend foundation and concealer on top.
Tips for different skin types
Suntegrity Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer is suitable for all skin types.
The texture and consistency of the product is creamy. It’s nourishing, emollient, and slightly occlusive. It’s not a fluid or lotion.
Since it’s a moisturizer, primer and sunscreen build into one, I recommend experimenting using it on its own and with different skin care products to see what you prefer. You might be surprised to see that it works just as well as a moisturizer, and you don’t need much skin care products underneath. Even for dry skin.
I find it’s a little more moisturizing than the Suntegrity 5 in 1, and with my dry “maturing” skin, I can use it on its own, or with lightweight skincare products underneath. These days I like using it on top of Indie Lee Active Oil-Free Moisturizer which adds cushiony hydration without being oily or greasy. Once the sunscreen dries down, it has a natural satin finish.
Like the Suntegrity 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen, I have some tips on how to use this sunscreen for different skin types:
Normal, dry, combination skin:
This sunscreen is nourishing and emollient, making it especially good for normal, dry, and combinations skin.
Depending on your climate and the condition of your skin, you might find it’s sufficient on its own without other skin care products, or you might prefer using it on top of serum and/or moisturizer.
I do find it blends into the skin much better when applied to dry skin. So best to wait 5-10 minutes after cleansing and applying your skincare products before applying the sunscreen.
When first applying the sunscreen, it may feel and look quite shiny, white and emollient. It needs a good 15 minutes to dry down and set. Once it sets, it becomes more translucent and has a satin finish.
I find the finish of the sunscreen depends a lot on what you are using underneath. So if you want a more dewy finish, use a drop or two of facial oil underneath. If you want a less shiny finish, skip the moisturizer or oil, and either don’t use anything at all underneath, or use a hydrating serum or oil-free moisturizer.
If you are prone to dry patches or flaky skin, I recommend exfoliating your skin regularly. This sunscreen can cling to dry, peeling or flaky skin. Regular gentle exfoliation will eliminate the issue. But if the flaky dry patches are chronic, better to use Suntegrity 5 in 1 Tinted Face Sunscreen instead, it doesn’t cling or build up on dry patches.
Oily skin:
For oily skin types, I recommend using the Suntegrity Face Sunscreen & Primer on its own. You won’t need an additional moisturizer, and best to apply the sunscreen to dry skin (apply the sunscreen 5-10 minutes after cleansing).
As I mentioned, it takes the sunscreen a good 15 minutes to absorb and set. At first it might feel a little emollient and heavy, but once it absorbs it will feel much lighter on the skin.
If you find the finish of the sunscreen too satiny, you can use a powder to absorb excess shine.

Which Suntegrity Face Sunscreen Is better?
They’re both good. And, they both work great as a moisturizer, primer and sunscreen.
These products really are sun care and skin care built into one.
They smooth, hydrate and moisturize the skin making the skin plump and healthy looking.
But, I prefer the 5 in 1 Face Sunscreen, and here’s why:
- I find it’s easier to use
- It blends perfectly into my skin.
- No white caste
- Blends into the hair line and eye brows effortlessly.
- No clinging to dry patches or flaky skin
- It’s unscented, I can use it all around my eyes without irritation.
But, if I regularly used foundation (which I don’t), the Suntegrity Face Sunscreen & Primer would probably be a better option. The white cast and blending it into the skin wouldn’t be an issue because it’s the base, and makeup covers it.
So it really depends on your lifestyle, and what you would be using it for.
If you want a fuss-free easy to use sunscreen, go with the 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen.
If you want a sunscreen that smooths, moisturizes, and preps the skin for makeup, go with the Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer.
If you are a guy, go with the 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen. Both my husband and father use it. Even though it’s tinted, it’s not makeup. The tint blends into the skin, and it doesn’t collect or show on facial hair or stubble.
Suntegrity makes quality and reliable sun care products, definitely worth trying. Sunscreen aren’t the easiest product to shop for. I know, I’ve tried so many. But when you finally do find something that looks good, feels good, and actually works; it makes a huge difference. And that’s why after all these years I keep using my beloved 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen, and I continue recommending it.

Hi Natasha! Have you tried Suntegrity Impeccable Skin Broad Spectrum SPF 30 yet? If so, how would you compare it to their 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen Moisturizer? I also have melasma and it has gotten significantly worse lately (darker and new patches). I’m thinking it is time to try another sunscreen. Thanks!

Yes, I use Suntegrity Impeccable Skin, love it! This summer I find myself going back and forth between Impeccable Skin and 5in1. Impeccable Skin is a foundation sunscreen (it has light to medium coverage so it’s good to even out skin tone, hide imperfections and looks natural on skin). 5in1 is a tinted moisturizer sunscreen, so you can really load it on for sun protection and it blends into skin. For that reason, when I’m out in the sun, I tend to use 5in1 because I can put a generous layer on my skin, and it blends in. Impeccable Skin, since it’s a foundation, I tend to use less product because I’m not really wanting a full coverage foundation look, which ends up being less sun protection. For that reason I tend to use it on days where I’m not really out in the sun much, or I apply a layer of Suntegrity Natural Moisturizing Sunscreen & Primer under it for extra sun protection.
Suntegrity also has a Pressed Mineral Powder SPF 50, which I also like using for extra protection on my melasma. It’s a good one for reapplying sunscreen throughout the day, and for extra protection on areas of face that need it. But with the powder sunscreen, I still use a base sunscreen cream under it (5in1 or Impeccable Skin) to ensure my face is getting proper coverage (powders are good but they don’t always cover your skin as well as a sunscreen cream or lotion). I have a review of the Suntegrity Mineral Powder I’ll be posting later this week, so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks so much for your guidance. I ordered samples from Suntegrity’s website (I LOVE that they offer samples!), and have tried both products over the last few days. I have the same take as you on the 5in1 vs. Impeccable Skin. I love them both for different reasons (and I like using their Natural Moisturizing Sunscreen & Primer before applying Impeccable Skin. Thanks for that tip!) I am SO glad I came across your website which lead me Suntegrity. Their products will be a permanent part of my daily skincare/protection routine!
