Anti-Aging In My 40s, What I’m Focusing On Now?

Share

Every year around my birthday I love doing a blog post and video about anti-aging – what I’m working on, what my challenges are, and what’s giving me results.

Last month I turned 42, and I would say that in recent years I’ve had to amp up my anti-aging routine, and put more time into self care.

When I turned 40, I didn’t see what the big deal was entering my 40s. I felt as good as I did in my 30s, maybe even a little better. But as the years progressed (and giving birth to my second child at 41), I’ve seen and felt time catching up with me.

Anti-aging in my 40s, how am I taking care of my skin and body to stay young

I will say that I am blessed with pretty good genes, and growing up in cold Montreal, Canada helped to prevent sun damage, and a healthy diet and good skincare has been a top priority for well over the past decade – all of which in the realm of anti-aging, has definitely paid off.

Up until now, all these things has helped to decrease the signs of aging, but there’s still more to be done and improved upon. I’m one of those people that likes to make things better. I especially love self care. I don’t see it as a chore, but something I prioritize and thoroughly enjoy. For me, the better I take care of myself, the better I feel about myself. It boosts my self esteem, which makes going about life a lot easier.

So, if you’re curious about my most recent additions to my anti-aging self care routine, check out today’s video below. Most of these things I’ve added to my routine over the past year, and they’ve all been giving me fabulous results.

After watching this video, I know some of you might want to know what the products are I’m using, so here’s the links below:

  1. I’m 15 and have little breakouts every two weeks. I’m using the johnsons baby bar soap for my skin but I’m not sure if it’s too harsh. I want to try double cleansing but I have really dry skin and I don’t want to make it more dry. What should I do?
